Following a professional 3-step gel system, DC Gel polishes need to be cured under an LED lamp, used with any DND, DC, or DIVA Base and Top Gel. Matching nail lacquers are used separately and need to air dry.
- Starting with completely clean and prepped nails, apply a single coat of base gel and cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp.
- Apply a single thin layer of gel color and cap the edges. Cure for 45 seconds in an LED lamp.
- Apply the second thin layer of gel color and cap the edges. Cure for 45 seconds in an LED lamp.
- Apply DND topcoat, no cleanse and cure for 45 seconds in an LED lamp.
- Applying thick layers of gel color can result in an uneven cure, leading to chipping and peeling. Make sure to hydrate daily by moisturizing the cuticles.
The main differences between DND, DC, & DIVA are the packaging aesthetics. They all require a 3-Step Gel System.
